UMEME UgandaSupply of Concentric Solid Aluminum Cable for service connection
Inventta was contracted again in 2021 to supply UMEME Uganda with 2,000,000 meters of single phase, single core solid conductor with concentric neutral, XLPE insulated aluminum conductor of nominal core size 16sqmm. The cable is used by UMEME for service drops between the low voltage (600/1000V) aerial bundled or bare conductor distribution system and the customer point of connection.
EDM MozambiqueSupply of 8,028 Km of ABC Cables and 5,375 Km of Conductors
In 2021 Inventta was contracted again to supply Electricidade de Moçambique, E.P (EDM) with 4,896,018.69 US Dollars worth of ABC Cables and Conductors under the Mozambique Energy for All Project (PROENERGIA). The project, funded by World Bank, required a complex logistic solution, with partial deliveries to 15 different warehouses in the South, Central and North Regions of Mozambique.

Inventta was contracted in 2021 to supply Electricidade de Moçambique, E.P (EDM) with 36,000 MV Porcelain Post Insulators and 15,000 Long rod composite Insulators under the Mozambique Energy for All Project (PROENERGIA). The project, funded by World Bank for the value of 1,080,081.34 US Dollars, required a complex logistic solution, with partial deliveries to 15 different warehouses in the South, Central and North Regions of Mozambique.

EDCL RwandaSupply of Electrical Materials for Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Lines and Service Connections
In June 2020 Inventta was contracted once again to supply the Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) in Rwanda with Pole Accessories, LV and MV Cables, Transformer Accessories and Service Connection Materials with total contract value of 1,693,540.78 US Dollars. The project, funded by the government of Rwanda, helped to connect rural households to the power grid, increasing EDCL’s customer base in and improving the rate of rural electrification in the country.
EEP EthiopiaXLPE Insulated Single Core Underground Cables of 15kV & 33KV rated voltage with Termination Kits
Inventta was contracted in May 2020 to supply the Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) with 1,766,648 US Dollars worth of 15kV and 33kV XLPE insulated single core underground cables and termination kits. The project, funded by the African Development Bank, was directed at improving maintenance and reliability of the network in the Kottebe area.
EDCL RwandaSupply of Electrical Material for fill-in connection
In March 2020 Inventta was contracted to supply materials for fill-in connection to the Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) in Rwanda. The contract, with a value of 2,308,363 Euros, was part of the Electricity Access Roll-Out Program (EARP), which is the central effort of the Government of Rwanda to combat low electrification rates. The project was funded by Enabel, the Belgian Development Agency.
TANESCO TanzaniaSupply of Last Mile Connection Materials - Meters, Service Line Cables and Connection Accessories
Inventta was contracted in October 2019 to supply last mile connection materials to the Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO). The project, with a value of $627,349.93, was financed by the African Development Bank with the aim of increasing access to electricity in the Kigoma region.
EUCL RwandaSupply of Current Transformers and Insulators
In August 2019 Inventta was contracted to supply the Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) in Rwanda with Current Transformers and Insulators for the value of $675,278.52 US Dollars. The project, financed by EUCL with its own budget, helped to strengthen the Distribution Network in Rwanda.
EDCL RwandaSupply of Electrical Materials (LV Cables and LV Line Accessories)
In July 2019 Inventta was contracted again to supply $4.6 million US Dollars of Concentric Service Cables, Line Accessories and Earthing Equipment to the Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) in Rwanda. The project, funded by the World Bank, was part of the Rwanda Energy Sector Strengthening Project (RESSP) and provided towns and villages in remote areas with access to the electricity.
LEC LiberiaLV Aerial Conductors with associated Connectors and Clamps for Liberia Electricity Corporation
In March 2019, Inventta was contracted to supply LV Aerial Conductors with associated connectors and clamps to the Liberia Electricity Company (LEC) for value $407,797.12 US Dollars. Funded by The Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Government of Liberia via the Millennium Challenge Account, the project aimed to facilitate poverty reduction through economic growth in Liberia.
BPC BotswanaSupply and Delivery of Switch Gear Accessories to Gaborone and Francistown Warehouses
In January 2019, Inventta was contracted again to supply Switch Gear Accessories to The Botswana Power Corporation (BPC), responsible for implementing electrification projects, customer service connections as well as the maintenance of existing electricity infrastructure in Botswana.
ESCOM MalawiSupply and Delivery of Cables, Conductors, Metering Equipment and Line Hardware
In January 2019, Inventta was awarded a $1.93 million US Dollar contract for the supply and delivery of 3,500kms of Overhead Conductors to the Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM). The project, self-funded by the Government of Malawi, was part of an initiative to electrify the central region of Malawi, in the outskirts of Blantyre, and to increase access to electricity to residential and industrial areas.

In December 2018, Inventta was tasked with a $3.9 million US Dollar Supply Contract to supply Overhead ABC Twisted Cables, MV Insulators and M & LV accessories to the Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) in Rwanda. The project, funded by the Arab Bank for Development in Africa (BADEA), intended to increase access to electricity in the Northern Zone of Rwanda improving the lives of thousands of households in rural areas.
ZESCO ZambiaRing Main Units
Inventta was contracted in 2018 to supply the Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO) with Ring Main Units to refurbish their existing sub-stations. The contract was part of the Project: “PROCUREMENT OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT (FEEDER PILLARS, JOINTS, RMU AND TERMINATIONS)” and was self-funded by the Zambian Government in an effort to strengthen the efficiency of the country’s power grid.
NEDCo GhanaInsulated Tools and Maintenance Equipment
In November 2018, we were contracted to supply insulated electrician’s tools and maintenance equipment to the Northern Electricity Distribution Company Limited of Ghana (NEDCo). The project, funded by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of the Government of Switzerland, was part of the Ghana Electricity Sector Support Project (GEDAP III). Inventta coordinated the procurement of all the equipment and ensured timely delivery to the northern region of Tamale, where the local maintenance crews are located
PPPDS EthiopiaProcurement of Cargo Trucks 4x2 8.5-12 Ton
Inventta was contracted to supply the Public Procurement & Public Disposal Service in Ethiopia with a fleet of Cargo Trucks of 12 Ton payload capacity. The vehicles, prepared for off-road terrain, were commissioned to help with logistical needs in remote areas of the country. The operation required a complex shipping arrangement involving Ro-Ro vessels and professional drivers to drive the vehicles from Tianjin, China to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, all coordinated by Inventta from the manufacturing to the last delivery step.
ZESCO ZambiaSupply and Delivery of Various Stay Wire, 11kV Cables and Aerial Earth Cable
We participated in the supply of Stay Wire, 11kV Cables and Aerial Earth Cable to the Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO). The project, self-funded by ZESCO, provided necessary materials to complete rural electrification and construction projects in the Central Zambezian Miombo woodlands eco-region.

In August 2018 Inventta Ltd was contracted to supply for the first time various cables and conductors to Botswana Power Corporation (BPC), opening a new crucial market for our company in the Southern African region. The Botswana Power Corporation is responsible for implementing electrification projects, customer service connections as well as the maintenance of existing electricity infrastructure in Botswana.

In July 2018 Inventta Ltd was once again contracted to supply to the Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) all the materials required for the construction of over 2 million meters of Power Lines in the Republic of Rwanda. The project, funded by the Arab Bank for Development in Africa (BADEA), helped to electrify the Northern Region of Rwanda and provide access to electricity to thousands of households in rural areas
EUCL RwandaConstruction of 60km 15/24KV Underground Power Line
Inventta Ltd secured a contract to supply all the necessary equipment for construction of a 60km 15/24KV Underground Power Line to the Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) in Rwanda under the “Kigali Strengthening Project”. The project, funded by World Bank, aimed at upgrading the electricity grid in Kigali city which had grown out of supply capacity, helping to reduce black outs and downtime in electricity supply to the capital of Rwanda.
TANESCO TanzaniaCentre Break Isolator Switches
We participated in the Supply, Delivery and Installation of 220KV, 132KV and 33KV Centre Beak Isolator Switches for the Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO), the Electricity Company of Tanzania. The project, self-funded by TANESCO, helped increase rural electrification in the Kilimanjaro region and provided households in this remote area with access to the grid, boosting the local economy and offering new opportunities for both businesses and private individuals.

Inventta Ltd played an important role in supplying over 1 million meters of Overhead Twisted Cables, Conductors, LV Cables and Fuse Cutouts for the Energy Development Coporation (EDCL) in the Republic of Rwanda. The project, funded by a grant from the Kingdom of Belgium within the framework “Improving Access to Reliable On-grid Electricity Service for Households and Public Priority Institutions”, provided thousands of rural households with access to electricity in Rwanda.
UMEME UgandaIn conjunction with the Road Authority
We participated in the supply and delivery of 1 million meters of various Medium and High Voltage Cables to UMEME Ltd, Uganda's number 1 electricity distributor. The project, in conjunction with the Road Authority of Uganda, helped diverge existing underground cables and clear the way for the construction of the new Highway linking Entebbe to Kampala, Uganda's biggest road building project up to date.

Inventta Ltd participated in the supply and delivery of over 1.7 million meters of Overhead Twisted Cables, Conductors, LV Cables and Stay Wire for the Energy Development Corporation (EDCL) in the Republic of Rwanda. The project, funded by the SAUDI Fund for Development, helped to increased access to electricity in some rural areas of Rwanda.
ESCOM MalawiLineman’s Tools
We participated in the supply and delivery of a wide range of Utility Tools to equip ESCOM Malawi's personnel to maintain and repair the country's Electricity Network. The project involved sourcing of a wide variety of Hand Tools, Power Tools and Insulated Equipment assorted by destination and delivered to the three main maintenance centers in Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre.
SIEMENS Gigaset Bundle2006 World Cup Promotion
In 2006 Inventta Ltd secured a contract with SIEMENS to manufacture 2.6 million units of a bundle including two wireless telephones and a Fan Kit for a promotion between SIEMENS and the FIFA World Cup Organization for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. The operation required a highly specialized logistical arrangement with products from 5 different production hubs packed together into one bundle under a dedicated packing depot before being delivered to the final destination.
